Springfield won the last time they faced Bogalusa and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Lumberjacks with a sharp 12-2 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by seven runs or more this season.

Will Sanders was a standout: he scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Colt Lirette, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Springfield and bumps their season record up to 14-16. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Bogalusa, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
