They came out on top against Calvary Christian Academy by a score of 57-44. For Blair County Christian, this counts as revenge for the 54-44 defeat Calvary Christian Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blair County Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caedmon Dull, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Dull hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Micaiah Marucci, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Calvary Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyrell Lapp, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Lapp is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Micah Lloyd was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with three steals.
Blair County Christian pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2.
Blair County Christian will head out on the road to face off against Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Calvary Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Huntingdon Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
