Shawsheen Valley Tech extended the longest winning streak in Commonwealth - Large this week by beating Whittier RVT, 37-12. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Greater Lawrence Tech took down Mystic Valley Regional 44-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Northeast Metro RVT's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Knights feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Troy Tartarini has thrown for 537 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Nick Giangregorio has 11 catches for 215 yards. Kenny Bartolo leads the league in rushing with 1242 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Shawsheen Valley Tech takes on Northeast Metro RVT. At the moment, Al Costabile's team is in first, while the Knights are in fourth.
The Reggies led Commonwealth - Large in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Eagles.
