The Norris Titans had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 46-37 victory over Seward. That's another feather in the cap for Norris, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Ella Johnson, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five blocks. Those five blocks set a new season-high mark for her. Grace Kohler was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Norris' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. As for Seward, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Norris will be home for the holidays to greet Aurora at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aurora will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Norris is ranked 19th). As for Seward, they will head out on the road to face off against Grand Island Central Catholic on Friday.
