The Hawthorne Hornets waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins but they left with six. They snuck past Buchholz with a 65-60 win. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hawthorne will stay at home for another game and welcome P.K. Yonge at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. P.K. Yonge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 359th, while Hawthorne is ranked 166th). As for Buchholz, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gainesville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
