The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jarret Mauvais, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Edmyer St Jean, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Meanwhile, Greenacres Christian's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 73-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Somerset College Prep Academy.
Loss or not, Greenacres Christian got some senior leadership from David Mine who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds and Joshua Barthelamy who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Barthelamy scored a full 32.8% of Greenacres Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Corey Antoine, who scored 7 points along with 7 assists.
Oxbridge Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greenacres Christian, the last time they won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost three straight away matchups, they've bumped their record down to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Oxbridge Academy against Greenacres Christian when the teams last played back in January as the squad secured a 89-60 victory.
