The victory got Mesquite back to even at 1-1. As for Valley Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
Mesquite has already played their next contest, a 60-25 win against Rio Rico on the 28th. As for Valley Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 52-49 loss against Arizona College Prep on the 28th.
