Lighthouse Christian Academy lost against Tabernacle Christian in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 54-48 score last time.
Lighthouse Christian Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Abagail Rousey, who scored 9 points along with 15 rebounds, and Elyzabeth Schuetz who scored 11 points along with 6 rebounds.
Tabernacle Christian was led to victory by Annie Sichting and Liz Southerland. Sichting dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 assists, while Southerland scored 27 points along with 7 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Southerland has scored at least 25% of Tabernacle Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Brummett, who scored 6 points along with 23 rebounds and 3 steals.
Lighthouse Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tabernacle Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Lighthouse Christian Academy will be playing at home against Medora at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Medora is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Tabernacle Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Indiana Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
