Braden Elliott posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Eaglecrest is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Elliott and Eaglecrest will head out to square off against Smoky Hill at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
