After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lawrence Free State, the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top against St. James Academy by a score of 61-51.
John Hauserman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Martin, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for St. James Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Carroll on the road again on Tuesday and play against Southeast at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for St. James Academy, they will challenge Joplin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
