Florida flag football: How to watch Saturday's state championship games

Semifinals begin Friday with Robinson, Seminole Ridge, Edison all aiming for repeat titles.

The Florida High School Athletic Association girls flag football championships will take place Saturday and streamed live on the NFHS Network.

Friday will feature eight semifinal contests with the winners moving on to Saturday's state championship games in four classes. All games will be held at AdventHealth Training Center in Tampa.

In Class 2A, Robinson (Tampa) seeks its 10th straight state title and 11th in the past 12 years. The Knights face Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach) in Friday's semifinal. Robinson has defeated the Indians in three of the previous four state championship games.

Robinson head coach Joshua Saunders, who also doubles as the head coach for the 17U Team USA flag football team, is sitting on 299 career wins entering the semifinals.

Top-ranked Seminole Ridge (Loxahatchee) looks for back-to-back state crowns and the program's seventh overall since 2010. Edison (Miami) also seeks a state repeat after winning it all for the first time last year. Park Vista (Lake Worth), Harmony, Lennard (Ruskin) and Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine) will vie for the Class 4A championship.
