There's no place like home for the Chase County Longhorns, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 58-45 win over McCook on Friday. For Chase County, this counts as revenge for the 67-41 defeat McCook walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Chase County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tristan Jablonski led the charge by scoring 13 points along with 7 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Camron Lempke, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Chase County back to even at 1-1. As for McCook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Chase County will head out on the road to face off against Sidney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McCook, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Valentine at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Valentine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Thursday.
