Volleyball Recap: Holdrege's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Holdrege won the last time they faced North Platte and Ellie Pelster did her part to make sure it happened again. The Dusters came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Pelster, who had 15 digs. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

While Holdrege won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-23.

The win snapped Holdrege's losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 17-7 record. As for North Platte, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-20.

Coincidentally, Holdrege and North Platte will both be playing Sidney the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will host the Red Raiders at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Dusters will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
