Northampton extended their winning streak to nine on Friday, bumping them up to 9-1. They took down the Nandua Warriors 62-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellowjackets also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.
As for Nandua, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6. On the bright side, the 48- point performance marked their highest-scoring game to date.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nazere Blake, who rushed for 293 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Parker, who rushed for 151 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries.
Looking ahead, Northampton will face off against Colonial Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets are facing the Drifters at the right time seeing as the Drifters are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Nandua does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
