Normal West lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaiah Robinson, who scored eight points along with two steals. Robinson hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Nate Moore, who scored 11 points.
Normal West's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 7-15. As for Peoria, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal West won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pontiac at 2:30 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Illinois (Pontiac is ranked 209th, while Normal West is ranked 217th).
