The Chase County Longhorns lost against the Ogallala Indians back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Chase County lost to Ogallala at home by a decisive 66-47 margin. Chase County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Chase County still got an impressive performance from Jensen Olsen, who scored 18 points along with 7 rebounds. Olsen scored a full 38.3% of Chase County's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Tristan Jablonski, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
Chase County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ogallala, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Chase County will be home for the holidays to greet Wray at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ogallala, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Patrick's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Patrick's knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Ogallala likes a good challenge.
