Brentis Schaeffer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jaron LeMelle was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Meanwhile, New Manchester pushed their score all the way to 66 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Hillgrove 71-66. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Tuesday (61), New Manchester still had to take the loss.
Their wins bumped Langston Hughes to 4-1 and Decatur to 6-2.
