Players to Watch Maddie Chabot, Pewaukee – Chabot, a Division III Washington University commit, tallied 6.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest as a junior.
Londyn Hollins, Wisconsin Lutheran – Hollins, a Division I prospect, has already made a big impact this season, leading the team with 16 points per game through four games.
Giselle Janowski, Pewaukee – Janowski is working her way back from an ACL injury suffered in late December of last season. The Wisconsin recruit averaged 19.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 2.5 steals per game, earning second-team all-Woodland West and honorable mention WBCA all-state.
Vanessa Johnson, Pewaukee – Johnson, a Division 2 Florida Southern recruit, contributed 8.4 points, 2.5 assists, and 2.7 steals per game as a junior.
Beth Langebartels, Wisconsin Lutheran – As a sophomore, Langebartels received second-team all-conference honors, averaging 11.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest. She also shot 43-for-118 from 3-point land.
Julia McRae, New Berlin West – McRae averaged 9.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 2.1 steals per game as a junior.
Kaelyn Nommensen, Wisconsin Lutheran – Nommensen was named first-team all-Woodland West and honorable mention WBCA all-state as a sophomore. The Division I prospect averaged 16.5 points and 4.6 points per game, and made 30 triples.
Kylie Pieper, Pewaukee – Pieper returned at the end of last season after recovering from an ACL injury. As a sophomore, she averaged 7.9 points per game for the D2 state champs.
Maricella Rivera, Pius XI Catholic – As a sophomore, Rivera tallied 6.6 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.7 steals per game.
Chelinda Spector, Pius XI Catholic – Spector contributed 7.7 points and 1.7 steals per contest as a sophomore.

Team Notes: The Pirates have reached the WIAA state tournament in three of the last four seasons, winning the Division 2 state championship in 2024. Last season, their impressive four-year run ended one game short of the state tournament, when they fell to Kimberly, the eventual D1 state champions. Pewaukee has captured at least a share of the last four Woodland West titles and enters the year with a 41-game league winning streak. Coach Reuter said they will be a quick, uptempo, aggressive team. "Obviously, we have a lot to replace, especially with scoring and 3-point shooting, but I think we have kids who are hungry and ready to take the next step."

Team Notes: The Vikings returned four starters from last year's team, which fell to Division 2 state champion Wauwatosa East in a regional final. "Some strengths include scoring at multiple levels and perimeter play," coach Strutz told MaxPreps. He noted that some challenges for the year include taking care of the basketball and stringing together defensive stops.
