Volleyball Recap: Opp's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Opp had won two straight games and Rylie Kate Thrash did her part to make it three on Monday. The Bobcats blew past the New Brockton Gamecocks 3-0 for which the team can thank Thrash, who had ten aces and four digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.6 aces per game.

Opp walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.

Opp's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for New Brockton, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Opp will welcome Kinston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Brockton, they will challenge Charles Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
