The Wilson Area Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Saucon Valley Panthers at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Wilson Area didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Bangor, but they still walked away with a 59-54 win.
Meanwhile, Saucon Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Pen Argyl on Tuesday, taking the game 43-35.
Saucon Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Braden Weiss led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Robertson, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Wilson Area's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Saucon Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Wilson Area came out on top in a nail-biter against Saucon Valley in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, sneaking past 33-31. Will Wilson Area repeat their success, or does Saucon Valley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
