When it comes to explaining why Moffat County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hudson Jones. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Bryant Carlson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Moffat County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Eagle Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-5.
Moffat County will be playing in front of their home fans against Aspen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Aspen is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Eagle Valley, they will face off against Durango at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
