Globe is 0-4 against Seton Catholic since March of 2017 but things could change on Wednesday. The Tigers will challenge the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Seton Catholic will be up against a hot Globe team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Tigers' way against Ray on Monday as they made off with a 17-2 victory.
Zoey Tulk made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Globe got a massive performance out of Bailey Andrade, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave Andrade a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jade Verdugo, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
Globe kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Seton Catholic). They put the hurt on Apache Junction with a sharp 22-1 win on Friday. The Sentinels have beaten the Prospectors the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Prospectors has come to flipping the script.
Like Globe, Seton Catholic also got a great game from a two-way player: Abbey Cota. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Cota was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Globe's record is now 17-9. As for Seton Catholic, their record now sits at 16-1.
Wednesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Globe hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .351. However, it's not like Seton Catholic struggles in that department as they've averaged .388. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Globe came up short against Seton Catholic when the teams last played back in March, falling 7-3. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
