Concord extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Tuesday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the A.L. Brown Wonders, falling 72-50. On the bright side, the 50- point performance marked the Spiders' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Concord's loss came despite strong showings from Taryn Blue and Khloe Taylor. Blue went 7-for-14 on her way to 18 points and three steals, while Taylor shot 50% from the field to rack up 22 points and four steals. That was a full 36% of the Spiders' points, marking the third time in a row Blue has posted more than a third of the team's points.

A.L. Brown's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their 24-point performance the contest before.

A.L. Brown got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alauna Massey out in front who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was London Gray, who had 16 points.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord will square off against Lake Norman Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spiders will need to watch out since the Knights have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for A.L. Brown, they will challenge Salisbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
