Huss entered their tilt with Harding University on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Rams 78-62. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 56-52 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Huss' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zaiyir 'Zii' Phillips, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 21 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. Phillips has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaleel Smith, who went 6-for-13 en route to 21 points along with eight boards and seven assists.

Huss' record is now 5-1. As for Harding University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Huss will host Ashbrook at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
