Chad Rusboldt turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because La Porte is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-8 otherwise.

Coming up, Rusboldt and La Porte will challenge Plymouth at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Slicers are 9-1 against the Pilgrims/Rockies going back to April of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
