Marais des Cygnes Valley is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Peabody-Burns Warriors at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.
Marais des Cygnes Valley will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up six points last Friday, then bounced right back against Altoona-Midway on Friday. The Trojans claimed a resounding 54-6 victory over the Jets. The Trojans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
