The biggest upset of the week belonged to Ocean City, who took down 211th ranked Middle Township, 42-39. Frank Woolley ran for 207 yards in the win.
Fans got a thrill when Jose Tabora and Austin Francisco connected against Bridgeton. The longest such play in Cape-Atlantic - National this season, the connection resulted in 90 yards.
Tabora threw for 227 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 14-22 with 2 interceptions.
Woolley was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 207 yards on 33 carries as the Raiders defeated the Bulldogs. Teammate Owen Naplecic added to the ground attack by rushing for 11 yards.
St. Augustine Prep's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Hermits feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tabora has thrown for 1,106 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Francisco has 36 catches for 677 yards.
Lamont Harris of the the Hermits is just 96 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Harris has rushed for 904 yards on 109 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when St. Augustine Prep takes on the Chiefs. Mark Reardon's team is currently in first, while Buena is in fourth.
Ocean City scaled the state rankings by moving to 238 from 284 this week, the biggest jump in Cape-Atlantic - National. Kevin Smith's team was able to move up by beating the Panthers 42-39.
