The GALA Goddesses's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by King/Drew 71-3. GALA was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-0.
Lauren Pang-Le was GALA's leading scorer, having posted two points.
GALA bumped their record down to 0-3 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for King/Drew, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. GALA will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Fremont at 2:30 p.m. on January 12th. As for King/Drew, they will take on Crenshaw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Crenshaw is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
