They were the clear victors by a 17-5 margin over Cambridge Rindge & Latin. The victory continues a trend for the Marauders in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Arlington had just enough and edged out Arlington Catholic 3-2 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spy Ponders.
Soline Fisher was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple.
Fisher wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Ceci Bagnall, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Belmont's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Arlington, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Arlington's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Belmont has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.5 hits per game. It's a different story for Arlington, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Belmont's sizable advantage in that area, the Spy Ponders will need to find a way to close that gap.
