North Montgomery had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 44-41 win over the Fountain Central Mustangs. North Montgomery and Fountain Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests.
