There's no place like home for Ballard, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Lakeside Lions by a score of 17-10 on Saturday. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Lakeside, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ballard will take on Ingraham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeside, they will challenge Newport - Bellevue at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
