The Bishop's Knights stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on St. Joseph Academy with a sharp 62-38 win. The win was familiar territory for Bishop's who now have three in a row.
Bishop's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Moana Peterson, who scored 23 points. Peterson continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayla Johnson, who scored 22 points.
Bishop's pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points per game. As for St. Joseph Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pacific Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Pacific Ridge will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 583rd, while Bishop's is ranked 153rd). As for St. Joseph Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge La Jolla Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
