Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Chief Leschi, but their most recent match may have softened the blow. They were able to grind out a solid win over South Bend on Friday, winning 28-20. The win was a breath of fresh air for Chief Leschi as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Finally capturing their first victory of the season, Chief Leschi advanced to 1-6. South Bend are on a five-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.
Next week Chief Leschi take on North Beach at 7:00 PM. North Beach took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Chief Leschi's good fortune. South Bend will have some time to rest before their next game, which is against North Beach in two weeks at 7:00 PM.
