Silver Lake Regional is 9-1 against Hingham since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Lakers will welcome the Harbormen at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Silver Lake Regional's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Hingham has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
On Tuesday, Silver Lake Regional made easy work of Whitman-Hanson Regional and carried off a 14-3 win. The Lakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by 11 runs or more this season.
Kate Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Meg Arseneau and Peyton Scuilli did most of the damage at the plate: Arseneau went 4-for-5 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Scuilli went 3-for-5 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those four runs gave Arseneau a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anna Kraft, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Silver Lake Regional kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 14 hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Hingham lost 15-4 to Duxbury on Tuesday.
Hingham's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Silver Lake Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3-1.
Everything went Silver Lake Regional's way against Hingham when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Silver Lake Regional made off with a 15-2 win. Do the Lakers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Harbormen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
