Basketball Recap: Round Rock Has No Trouble Against Hendrickson

Round Rock had lost three games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 6-1 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Hendrickson Hawks 75-51. The Dragons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

As for Hendrickson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since January 10th.

Hendrickson's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was DJ Hardge, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 14 points. KJ Dove was another key player, putting up seven points and seven boards.

Looking ahead, Round Rock will challenge Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rangers have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hendrickson, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 83-78 loss against Bowie on the 1st.
