Piedmont put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Head-Royce Jayhawks 70-55. That's more bragging rights for the Highlanders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Head-Royce still got an impressive performance from Tucker Peay, who posted 18 points and six rebounds. Peay is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tua Montoya, who had ten points.

Piedmont's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Head-Royce, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Piedmont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-48 loss against Archie Williams on the 6th. As for Head-Royce, they have also already played their next contest, a 66-64 win against San Lorenzo on the 6th.
