After a string of three wins, the Faith Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 37-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of Alleluia Community. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faith Baptist Christian Academy has scored all season.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emree Mattingly, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mary Weaver, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Alleluia Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lucy Krementz, who scored 16 points. Alley McBride was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Faith Baptist Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Alleluia Community, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
