Gilbert Christian came out on top against Leading Edge Academy - GEC on Monday thanks in part to Alyssa Cervantez's efforts. Cervantez threw for 146 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of her passes, which was good enough to also set a new career-high in passer rating.

Coming up, Cervantez and Gilbert Christian will take on Scottsdale Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will pit Cervantez up against the Eagles' star QB Campbell Reader. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
