It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Poly Bears had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Westminster by a score of 20-7. Winning may never get old, but Poly sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Westminster lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ezekiel Cedillo. Despite the final result, he rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown.
Poly now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Westminster, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4.
Poly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westminster also has no future games currently scheduled.
