Greenfield-Central had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They took down the Beech Grove Hornets 64-47 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won four in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Greenfield-Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Clay Mullins, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points in addition to eight assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Malachi Van, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards.

Coming up, Greenfield-Central will look to defend their home court on December 3 against Indianapolis Washington at 7:30 p.m. As for Beech Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Christel House at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
