The Scripps Ranch Falcons will be playing at home against the Vista Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Scripps Ranch focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Saturday.
Scripps Ranch unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak. They fell 56-47 to Cathedral Catholic. Scripps Ranch has struggled against Cathedral Catholic recently, as their game on Saturday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Kai Brown put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored 16 points. He scored a full 34% of Scripps Ranch's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Sawyer Flint was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Even though Vista has not done well against El Camino recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Vista walked away with a 58-48 victory over El Camino. The victory was familiar territory for Vista who now have three in a row.
Their wins bumped Scripps Ranch to 4-2 and Cathedral Catholic to 4-0.
