The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack will be playing at home against the Homer Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Tri County Northeast focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Tri County Northeast came up short against Pender and fell 41-31. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tri County Northeast in their matchups with Pender: they've now lost three in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ben Jorgensen, who scored nine points. Hunter Heikes was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.
Homer can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Siouxland Christian by a score of 48-41. That seven points margin sets a new team best for Homer this season.
Tri County Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Homer, their victory ended a ten-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-10.
Tri County Northeast strolled past Homer when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 49-30. Does Tri County Northeast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Homer turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
