Gar-Field gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Mountain View Wildcats by a score of 70-57. The Red Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gar-Field to victory, but perhaps none more so than Braylan Bell, who shot 45% from the field to rack up 13 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Bell a new career-high in blocks (two). JJ Bell was another key player, going 10-for-16 en route to 23 points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Gar-Field will welcome North Stafford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain View, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eastern View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
