The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Raleigh Christian Academy in their matchups with High Point Christian Academy: they've now lost seven in a row.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tristan Thompson, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Brennen Jefferson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
North Raleigh Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for High Point Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
North Raleigh Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Academic Magnet at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. Academic Magnet has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18. High Point Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Asheville Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on December 16th. Asheville Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 91st, while High Point Christian Academy is ranked 14th).
