Softball Game Preview: Legacy Tigers vs. Bell Eagles

For the second straight game, Legacy will face off against Bell. The Tigers will square off against the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Legacy has six straight victories, Bell has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Bell's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Legacy hadn't allowed a single run the last four times they've hit the field. The Tigers didn't even let the Eagles on the board on Wednesday, marking the Tigers' second-straight 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 15 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Isabella Medina, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alissa Andon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Legacy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least one batters in six consecutive games.
