On the hitting side, Warwick got a massive performance out of Marlee Martin, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and one stolen base while going 2-for-2. Those two home runs gave Martin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Heisey, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base.
Martin wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Warwick lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, J.P. McCaskey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 16-3 to Manheim Township. The contest marked the Red Tornado's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Warwick has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like J.P. McCaskey struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Warwick took their victory against J.P. McCaskey in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Tornado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
