Lewis-Palmer and Pueblo South are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Rangers will host the Colts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Lewis-Palmer will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Discovery Canyon, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Rangers walked away with a 21-13 victory over the Thunder on Friday.
Greg Moore produced another solid effort rushing for 200 yards and one TD while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 77-yard run.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lewis-Palmer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lewis-Palmer's defense and their four sacks. Dawson Zahl was especially locked on to Discovery Canyon's QB and sacked him twice. Lewis-Palmer got some further help from Jevon Davis: he picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made three total tackles.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pueblo South). They really took it to Harrison for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-21 win. The result was nothing new for the Colts, who have now won five games by 23 points or more so far this season.
Pueblo South's win came from a few key players Lewis-Palmer will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Chace Hurley, who rushed for 107 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caeden Herrera, who threw for 245 yards and four TDs on only 17 passes.

Lewis-Palmer's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Pueblo South, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Lewis-Palmer came out on top in a nail-biter against Pueblo South when the teams last played back in November of 2024, sneaking past 28-26. Do the Rangers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Colts turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
