Mountain View were successful in their last outing against Centennial, and they didn't afford Centennial any payback this time around. Mountain View took their game against Centennial on Friday by a conclusive 38-7 score. Followers of Mountain View probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
The matchup started off well for Mountain View, whose offense put up 18 first-half points. Meanwhile, Centennial couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 18-0 heading into the break. The offense for Mountain View continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 20 points to put the game away. The match pushed Centennial down to 2-4 and pulled Mountain View up to the reverse at 4-2.
Mountain View will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Borah. Keep an eye on the score for this one: those two teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Centennial, they will face off against Capital.
