Refugio has gone a perfect 7-0 against Three Rivers recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bobcats will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Refugio's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bobcats on Friday. Refugio claimed a resounding 61-0 victory over Skidmore-Tynan. The win continues a trend for Refugio in their matchups with Skidmore-Tynan: they've now won four in a row.

Refugio relied on the efforts of Ray Lewis, who rushed for 195 yards and one touchdown on only five carries, and Zander Wills, who rushed for 151 yards and four TDs on only six carries. That's the most rushing yards Wills has posted since back in August. Laytyn Garza also helped out with an impressive 126 receiving yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Refugio was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 412 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 257 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Refugio didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Daelan Edwards and Jaedynce Lewis. Jason Delossantos was another major factor on D, forcing two fumbles and making seven total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, Three Rivers unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 56-29 loss at the hands of Santa Maria.
Refugio will have to keep a close watch on Ethan Conn and Paxton Soliz, a pair of players who had a big impact on Three Rivers' prior game. Conn picked up 241 receiving yards and four scores, while Soliz threw for 281 yards and four TDs. With that strong performance, Conn is now averaging an impressive 109.1 receiving yards per game.
Three Rivers now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Refugio, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Refugio has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 498 total yards per game. However, it's not like Three Rivers struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 361.7 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.
Everything came up roses for Refugio against Three Rivers in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured an 83-7 win. In that matchup, the Bobcats amassed a halftime lead of 55-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
