Cross Keys is 8-2 against Atlanta Jewish Academy since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cross Keys Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar at 5:30 p.m. Atlanta Jewish Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cross Keys, who comes in off a win.
Cross Keys posted their closest victory yet this season on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Walker and snuck past 27-24. The victory was just what Cross Keys needed coming off of a 66-1 loss in their prior contest.
Cross Keys found their leader in underclassman Lindsey Tran, who scored seven points along with six steals and five assists. Tran also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Marta Reyes, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Atlanta Jewish Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Atlanta International, falling 60-2.
Cross Keys has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-11 record this season. As for Atlanta Jewish Academy, they bumped their record down to 0-2 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
